Pull-up Fashions

Liv's latest "thing" is her pull-up hat. Often she goes into a drawer in our bedroom and empties out all the diapers and pull-ups. Sometimes I just need that 5 min of quiet, so the mess doesn't really bother me. ;) She then will come out of the room with a pull-up on her head yelling, "Look at me , Mommy!"

Phone Hog

So Liv's new favorite thing is talking on the phone. She is always dialing and getting the operator. The other day she called Dennis Home Furnishing. This guy kept saying, hello? hello? and she shoved the phone at me and I hung up!! :{ She kept saying, "Hi Nanny, hi Nanny," so we called Nanny (my Mom) and she held a tried and true conversation. Delaney kept trying to talk and Liv would shriek at the top of her lungs and walk away with the phone. Finally I was able to get it from her after about 7- 10 minutes!!!

World's Biggest Baby!!!

Delaney had the most fun pushing her "baby" in her stroller. They went to "WalMart". Delaney (using all her strength) strolled Liv down the hall then came back to the playroom leaving her in the hall. Dad promptly got on our toy microphone and said, "Attention WalMart shoppers, someone has left a naked baby in the parking lot in a pink stroller." Delaney immediately rushed down the hall to retrieve her "baby."

We're off to see The Wizard!!!!

Santa brought Mom tickets to see the Wizard of Oz at the Walton Arts Center on January 7. Delaney just couldn't wait for the day to come. She wanted to dress in a "Dorothy blue square dress" so badly, but Mom just couldn't get the outfit together in time. We opted for her purple princess attire instead and looked very fancy. The show was truly amazing and Mom loved every minute of it. (Delaney had many questions throughout and was a bit scared when the big Wizard spoke.) WOO continues to be one of Delaney's all time favorites, and seeing this show was definitely a highlight for both of us. Lane and Mom all dressed up and ready to go to the show!!!

So many people commented on Delaney's outfit. They thought she looked just like the Munchkins in the show.
